After Intensive Care

Following patients and families for a year after an intensive care stay.

What is this study about?

Many people find the months after intensive care hard: tiredness, weakness, poor sleep and worry are common. We want to understand this recovery better, and what support helps.

Who can take part?

Adults who have spent at least three days in the intensive care unit, and a family member if they wish.

What is involved?

Four short phone calls over 12 months, and optional activity tracking with a wrist sensor.
